The axial seal ring of the pump is composed of a packing gland, filling ring, and packing, to prevent inlet or a large amount of leakage. If the impeller of the pump is balanced, the cavity with soft filler is connected to the impeller suction mouth. If the liquid at the impeller inlet is in a vacuum state, it is easy to enter the inlet of the shaft sleeve. If the impeller of the pump does not have an equilibrium hole, because the liquid pressure on the back of the impeller is greater than the atmosphere, so there is no leakage problem, so the feeding ring is not loaded. In order to avoid shaft wear, shaft sleeve protection is installed in the part of the shaft through the packing cavity. There must be an o-type seal ring between the shaft sleeve to prevent air intake or leakage along the matching surface.

Single-stage double suction centrifugal pump
